Documents Required During Application

Application Petition (The petition must clearly state the request, including the name, surname, signature, full address, telephone and fax number of the company official applying for the document, and the application date).
Declaration of the Trade Registry Gazette: A copy specifying the date and issue of the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette where the company's articles of association are published, indicating that tourism and travel agency activities are included in the company’s scope of business.
Certificate of Trade Registry: Original copy showing the authorized signatory or signatories.
Letter of Undertaking regarding the travel agency title.
For incorporated companies, the original copy of the declaration containing the identity number and criminal record of board members and persons authorized to represent the company. For other companies, the declaration of all partners and the persons authorized to represent the company.
Signatory Circular: Original or certified copy of the list of signatories authorized to represent the legal entity.
Travel Agency Personnel Documentation: A document related to the personnel under Article 35 of the Travel Agents Regulation, including the Social Security Institution Business Place code and an original declaration with the Turkish Identity Number.

Documents valid for travel agency personnel include:

a. Proof of completion of a vocational school, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in hotel management or tourism.
b. A certificate of achievement for information office foreign language proficiency.
c. A Guide Certificate issued by the Ministry.

In the case that agency owners are directly working at the agency, if they hold one of the above documents, they are considered agency personnel. The original foreign language proficiency certificate for the information officer, and the original or certified copy of other documents, are required. For C-group travel agencies, the information officer certificate is sufficient, and foreign language proficiency is not a requirement.

According to Article 34 of Law No. 4734:

a. The original of the letter of guarantee, including the agency and company title, or the document proving the deposit into the Central Bank Ankara Branch account of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Central Accounting Office, must be submitted to TÜRSAB.
b. Cash collateral must be deposited from the company account.
c. Cash collateral deposited from a personal account is not accepted.
d. The company name must be written correctly in the guarantee.
